Hi Everyone!

We hope you are doing well and having a nice summer. We don't have too much to report -- everything is moving along as expected! The books are printing, Jordan and Mario should have their bookplates for signature soon, and the extra ancillary bundle items and stretch goal goodies are on order. Everything appears on track to be in our warehouse by mid-September for an October ship date.

We did receive an unprinted proof with a sample of the diecut cover for the Limited Edition. It looks pretty nice! We even chose to upgrade this edition to a soft-touch, "scuff-free" lamination over black boards (rather than the standard grey) to really capture the executive feel of the logo... check it out:

With our approval, these will now go into full production, so we should hopefully see a finished proof in the next few weeks. We'll be sure to post more pix as we get them!

Hi, everyone!

It has been a few weeks since the last update that I posted before leaving on holiday. The absence was a bit longer than expected, however, as I came back completely rested and relaxed... only to get caught by Covid. 😫😷 I blame the flight back...

So after an extra 10 days of quarantined bedrest, I'm back at the desk and catching up on everything that piled up in the meantime. Fortunately, that didn't affect much of MONTE CRISTO which is at the printer and progressing as scheduled. We're still looking like a late September fulfillment window (although the printer did mention that the diecut cover might add a little extra time to the usual schedule... not much, but we'll be sure to keep you posted).

Other than that, the only thing to report is HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JORDAN!

(It was actually yesterday, but we'll make the celebration last...)

Just a quick update to let you know that surveys have finally been sent for MONTE CRISTO. The smoke test seems to have gone fine with no reports or questions. Only 65% of those surveys were completed, however -- a bit under the 75% completion Backerkit recommends -- but you've been patient and our confidence is high. 😊

Watch your mailboxes for that email with your invitation link. If you need help or don't see that email in the next 24-48 hours, feel free to message us here and we'll be happy to help. (Check your junk mail filters, too...)

Smoke test surveys sent! The rest should go out tomorrow

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update to let you know that the "smoke test" has started. We had hoped to start that phase over the weekend, but Backerkit took a little longer getting back to us with setup review and approval, which just arrived this morning.

The "smoke test" is a period where ~5% of the backers are randomly chosen to receive the surveys first in order to suss out any technical issues or pressing questions before the rest of the surveys are sent. Backerkit usually suggests waiting until 75% of those are complete, roughly 24hours, before sending the rest, so we expect the remaining surveys will go out to everyone sometime tomorrow. If you are one of those 5%, please fill out your survey so that the smoke test isn't held up!

Also, if your Kickstarter pledge was made under a "privaterelay.apple.id" email address, you will need to contact us with an alternate email address. This would be the case if you registered to Kickstarter on your iPhone letting the phone set up the account for you. Backerkit cannot send email or survey links to those addresses, so we will need an alternate to complete your pledge.
